Donor Contribution Funds
College of the Scriptures General Fund – General fund contributions go to support the general operating expenses of the College of the Scriptures. We deliberately keep tuition and fees low to enable more students from urban communities and low-income neighborhoods to take advantage of the opportunity for training in Christian service. Tuition does not cover all of the expenses for operating the College; your donations to the general fund help us.
Endowment Fund – Contributions to the endowment go to help ensure the long term stability of the College of the Scriptures. Funds are invested and the income from the investments is used to provide sustained support for the College. Alumni are encouraged to contribute to the endowment fund on a regular basis.
Scholarship Fund – The scholarship fund is used to provide specific assistance to students at the College of the Scriptures. Students must request and be approved for assistance from the scholarship fund. Those students receiving scholarship assistance must meet and maintain certain requirements.
Special Donations – Donors who wish may designate contributions to a specific project or need at the College of the Scriptures and from time to time the Board of Trustees will seek funds to be used toward a specific project or need of the College.
Other Donations – Those who support the mission and goals of the College of the Scriptures are encouraged to contribute to the College through wills, bequests, and memorial gifts. These gifts can be designated for any of the funds above.
Projects – Funds can be designated to cover specific projects (large or small) at the College. See the Current Project List for specific needs at the College. |
